A Spring Afternoon with Lindsey & Jared at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens

There was something so refreshing about a slow spring afternoon with Lindsey and Jared at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The gardens were full of fresh blooms and soft light, but what stood out most was simply getting to watch the two of them together. Nothing forced, nothing over planned just an easy kind of love that made every moment feel natural.

One of my favorite parts of this season with my couples is getting the chance to slow down before the wedding day arrives. Engagement sessions are about so much more than photos. They give us the opportunity to really get to know each other, settle into the process together, and create a level of comfort that makes the wedding day feel effortless.

Lindsey and Jared spent the afternoon laughing, walking through the gardens hand in hand, and soaking in this sweet season before becoming husband and wife. Their love feels steady, genuine, and full of joy the kind that doesn’t need much direction because it naturally shines on its own.

I already know their wedding day in Fairhope is going to be incredibly special, and after spending the afternoon with them, I’m even more excited to celebrate alongside them soon.
