Clay & Sydney’s wedding day on March 21 in Troy, Alabama at Oak Acres was the kind of day that reminds me exactly why I love what I do so much.
The morning started slow and sweet, with all the girls gathered together, laughing, music playing, and that quiet kind of excitement building as the day began to unfold. There’s something so special about those getting ready moments — a mix of anticipation, joy, and just soaking in the last few hours before everything changes.
One of my favorite parts of the day was Sydney’s first look with her dad… the kind that gets you every single time. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Moments like that are why I always say — nothing compares to seeing your people see you as a bride for the first time.

Not long after, Clay and Sydney shared their own private time together reading letters they had written to each other. It was intimate, emotional, and so incredibly meaningful. Just the two of them, grounding themselves before stepping into the biggest moment of their lives.
Their ceremony was just as sweet — full of love, intention, and the kind of emotion you can feel in the air. You could tell how deeply they are loved by everyone surrounding them.

And of course… sunset came, and there was no way we were skipping those portraits. The light was soft and golden, wrapping around them in the most beautiful way. It’s always worth stepping away for just a few minutes to soak that in — and their sunset photos were pure magic.
Now let me tell you about the reception… it was an absolute blast. The dance floor stayed full, the energy never dropped, and every single person there was ready to celebrate Clay & Sydney in the best way.
But the ending… it truly felt like something straight out of a movie. Their exit on her brother-in-law’s truck was the perfect send-off — carefree, joyful, and completely them. The kind of moment you wish you could bottle up forever.

Clay & Sydney, your day was beautiful in every way. Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a meaningful chapter in your story. I’ll be reliving this one for a long time. 🤍
